The Day I Gave My Entrance Exam – A Chaotic Yet Memorable Experience

Today was the day—the day I sat for my entrance exam. Yesterday, I tried my best to revise as much as possible, but I still couldn’t complete my full revision. This time, though, I made sure to sleep on time because I didn’t want to make bad decisions in the exam due to sleep deprivation. (Don't judge—I’ve made that mistake before!)

Even though I struggled to fall asleep, I still got some proper rest. I woke up just in time and left for my exam center, only to be hit with the first crisis of the day—I was at the wrong center! Talk about bad luck. Fortunately, I had a few minutes to spare, so we rushed to the correct location and made it just in time.

Just when I thought the chaos was over, the exam officials told me that my identity card wasn’t updated and that my exam could be canceled because of it. At that moment, my heart nearly stopped. But I kept a smile on my face—I wasn’t about to show them how scared I was. Luckily, they showed some mercy, and I was allowed to take my seat.

The exam started, and panic tried to creep in again. This was my chance to get into college, but the competition was insane. Instead of letting fear take over, I made a conscious decision: rather than rushing and risking negative marking, I would focus on accuracy. I held myself back from randomly marking answers, which was a huge win because, trust me, I would’ve probably ended up with more wrong answers than right ones.

The exam ended, and honestly? I have no idea how it went. So, I won’t say anything—let’s wait for the results.

Once I got back home, I took some well-deserved time off. First, I called my friends and gave them the full rundown of my exam-day chaos. Then, I did something I love—I worked on my novel. (Yes, I write novels—cool, right?) After that, I spent some time sketching (I’ll drop today’s progress below).

To unwind, I watched The Corpse Bride, and wow—what a masterpiece! I absolutely loved it; no words can do justice to how brilliant it is. After that, I binge-watched some web series before finally heading to bed.

From tomorrow, it's grind time again—my second entrance exam is coming up, and I need to give it my all. Wish me luck!
