Small Wins, Yummy Junk Food, and Fighting for the Perfect Paragraph

Today felt like one of those slow yet rewarding days.

I woke up about 10 minutes early (a miracle, honestly) and jumped straight into some promotion for my novel. Growth is slow, but it's happening—and that’s all that matters. Speaking of growth, a tiny but proud moment: I searched my novel’s name on Google today, and guess what? It showed up! Sure, the story description wasn’t quite accurate, but who cares? Seeing it pop up felt like a real milestone. Slow progress is still progress.

After riding that little high, I worked out, brushed my teeth, showered, and managed to squeeze in about two hours of solid study time. It wasn’t long, but it was effective—and that’s what counts, right?

Later, I treated myself to some series-watching (because, balance!). In the evening, just when I was mentally prepping for another study session, my mom dragged me to the market. Not my fault, okay? I wanted to study. But honestly, I’m glad I went—the junk food there was totally worth it. Sometimes, happiness tastes like fried street snacks and cold drinks.

Back home, I slipped back into my binge-watching groove for a bit before diving into Atomic Habits. Every time I read it, I pick up something new. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a book that’s smart but not overwhelming.

Finally, I sat down to write my novel. Today was tough—I kept getting stuck on one paragraph, rewriting it again and again. But perfection is part of the process, right? Even if it’s painfully slow sometimes.

Now signing off,

Grateful for small victories and a stomach full of junk food.

Until next time, bubye!
