College Tiers, Career Fears, and a Dose of Reality 📚🧠✍️
This morning began with me waking up fashionably late—30 minutes behind schedule, to be precise. But hey, I made up for it by diving straight into some quick novel promotion and squeezing in a bit of a workout. Not gonna lie, it’s getting harder every day… but we move.
After that, I freshened up—brushed, showered, the usual—and opened my laptop to binge-watch a bit while having breakfast. A small daily luxury I totally defend.
Now comes the fun part (or not): studying. I tried to focus, but my friends and I ended up spiraling into a deep discussion. We were questioning life itself—like, why stress over top-tier colleges when we can settle for a third-tier one, get a degree, and build real skills online? I mean, I don’t even want a corporate job. I want to be a full-time novelist! 💅
…until my parents gave me a healthy dose of reality.
"Your novel won’t feed you rice and curry," they said.
Touché.
So, I crawled back to my books and got in some actual study time. Just a little, but better than nothing, right?
Later, I worked on my novel—my true love—and now I’m wrapping up the day. Sleep is calling, and so is tomorrow’s grind.
Signing off until next time.
Chasing dreams, dodging responsibilities (but not really). 😴✨
