Binge-Watching, Face Masks & A Little Sadness – Just Another Day in My Chaotic Life

 Not every day has to be dramatic to be worth writing about—and today was one of those “nothing much happened but I still have thoughts” kind of days.


I woke up half an hour earlier than usual—not because I suddenly became an early bird, but because my house turned into a mini fish market with everyone shouting around (good morning chaos, as usual). So naturally, I grabbed my phone and scrolled like a certified zombie for a solid 30 minutes. No regrets.


Post-scroll routine: brushed my teeth, took a quick shower, and dove head-first into binge-watching my current obsession.

Let me just say—this series is SO GOOD. It has officially taken over my life. While I was halfway through the emotional rollercoaster, I had a totally contrasting chat with my friends—we were trying to plan a trip (hello, dream break!) and then with my coaching friend about which college would take "us dummies".

Ouch. That convo hit hard. The whole “what if no college accepts us” spiral was real for a second—but you know what? I pushed the overthinking aside and returned to my happy bubble: more binge-watching.

Somewhere between the series and self-pity, I decided to post something uplifting—and guess what? I shared one of my recent drawings on Instagram. The love it got really made my day, 

Oh, and did I mention the face mask drama?

Yeah, I decided to do a little self-care because I’m going out soon with my friends (maybe for the last time before we all scatter into different college galaxies)—and I need to look picture-perfect.

But then... plot twist—my mom shouted at me. Apparently, the face mask I used was some expensive magic potion she had been saving. Whoops.


After surviving that, I did a quick check-in on Insta, dropped a sneak peek of my novel, and yes—I wrote some more today. The novel is slowly coming together, and I can’t wait for the world to read it.


Now, it’s time to crash. My skincare is done. My binge-watch quota is fulfilled. My drawing is out in the world. And my day is wrapped.

Discovering the Beauty of English Literature: A Late but Worthwhile Realization

  Glad to say that I’m finally done with my English preparation for today. Surprisingly, I actually found something interesting about studying English! For someone like me—who barely touched an English book all year—reading these stories now feels overwhelming yet fascinating. Some are beautifully written with deep, thought-provoking themes, while others are simply masterpieces of storytelling. And because I'm into writing myself, I could truly appreciate the writer’s perspective in a way I never did before. Take "Deep Water" by William Douglas, for example. The line "Death is peaceful, it’s the fear of death that’s terrorizing" literally gave me goosebumps. Then there’s "The Rattrap" by Selma Lagerlöf—a brilliant mix of humor and deeper meaning. Just a little update

 Hey everyone how are you all doing? I know i haven't been writting anything pr giving any update. But things have gotten really stressed.  Since my first draft is complete i thought of taking a break so I haven't been making any progress with my novel. I took this time to think what I should actually study? I know i told you all I am serious about being novelist and i still agree with that.  But i think no matter how much time i spend in writing there is almost a lot of free time. So i should do some productive right? I decided i will go to college i will dropout if I don't feel like it or stick to end well that's something i will leave on my destiny. I am okay with whatever turns life holds for me but right now I think it's best to attend a college like everyone else. Why miss a experience of life?
